Jeff and Mimi's Partnership:

 

            Jeff Leyco and Mimi Liu were partners in life way before they started partnering as swing dance teachers and performers! After each of them took the plunge (as in sold their soul to swing dance) in 2010, they realized that they worked with each other well in the dance realm and began  partnering together in 2013. Not before too long, they saw some successful performances and competition results. Today, they both teach at the You Should Be Dancing studio in NYC and have also taught at Harlem Swing Dance Society, Columbia University, and at their alma mater, NYU. They are well-known swing dance teachers in NYC and up-and-coming dancers around the world. They have gained numerous accolades together, including 1st Place in the Lindy Hop Battle at Montreal Swing Riot, 2nd Place in the Open Strictly at ILHC,  and 2nd Place in the annual Frim Framiversary strictly. They also travel together to swing dance all around the world, sometimes to learn, to perform, but also just for fun.
